On this unique day you combine the thousand-year-old magic of Byzantine mosaics with an authentic artisan experience, taking home a work of art made with your own hands. In the morning, step into a Ravenna mosaic workshop, learn the ancient technique of glass tesserae and create your own personal artwork. Then explore the 4 absolute masterpieces of Ravenna's UNESCO World Heritage at your own pace, with no queues. A Romagna lunch in the heart of the historic centre rounds off an unforgettable day.

Day Programme

9:45 AM – Meeting point at Piazza Caduti, under the arches of Piazza San Francesco
10:00 AM – Mosaic workshop (~2h) at an artisan studio in the historic centre. Expert guide ITA/ENG, glass tesserae and traditional Byzantine materials provided. At the end you take home your own mosaic artwork (max 20 participants per session)
12:30 PM – Lunch at a restaurant in the historic centre with a traditional Romagna set menu, choose from 5 options (to be selected at the time of booking). Water and coffee included. Dedicated children's menu available
